Look of the Year 1991

Описание: Elite Model Look (known as Look of the Year from 1983 to 1995) is an annual global modeling competition organized by Elite Model Management, a leading international model management group. The event aims to discover and launch aspiring female fashion models onto the international stage, similar to Ford Models’ Supermodel of the World contest. Each year, approximately 350,000 participants aged 14–26 from over 70 countries compete in castings held across more than 800 cities worldwide. Local winners advance to represent their countries in the prestigious world final, a platform that has launched the careers of iconic models such as Cindy Crawford, Helena Christensen, Gisele Bündchen, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lara Stone, Petra Němcová, Stephanie Seymour, Frederique van der Wal, Ingrid Seynhaeve, and Rolene Strauss.

Note: This video, digitized from a VHS tape, captures moments from the event and features my wife, who participated in the competition (though we wouldn’t marry until seven years later). The video quality is modest due to its age, but I’m sharing it for nostalgic reasons, hoping other former contestants might enjoy revisiting these memories. Enjoy!
