This video is for beginning or inexperienced amateur astronomers.
It gives an account of finding and photographing Bodes Galaxy and M5 - a globular star cluster in the constellation Serpens - by taking many long exposure photographs and then stacking or integrating the resulting images in Deep Sky Stacker followed by post processing.
Photos were taken with a Nikon D3100 DSLR through an Orion CT 80 refracting telescope mounted on a Celestron GoTo alt-azimuth mount.
Images stacked in Deep Sky Stacker and processed in Affinity Photo.
All photos in the video taken by Old Gazer.
