Recorded October 7, 1929, on the organ in St. Thomas-a-Beckett's Church, Wandsworth, London, on Gramophone Company matrices Cc 16799, 16800, 17801 and 17802. Issued in March, 1930, as HMV C 1825 and C 1826.
Belgian-born organist and composer Guy Weitz (1883-1970) was a student of Charles-Marie Widor and Alexandre Guilmant at the Schola Cantorum in Paris. In 1914 he moved to London, where from 1917 to 1967 he was organist at the Farm Street Church of the Immaculate Conception.
