Well, a new semester means new trains. As I came back for my junior year, (mostly) free of Covid, I was very much looking forward to my 5th semester at The University of Iowa. Football, marching band, and normal classes were back. I just had to see what Iowa Interstate and Crandic had to offer. With me busy again with school, I didn't see as many trains, but the ones I saw were still pretty good. Crandic now ran through campus, so I had the chance to see them run through between classes (which happened a few times). Iowa Interstate had the usual, with 513 and a geep leader making appearances. The bonus was a run of the QJ 6988 on a deadhead run to excursions in Wilton, meaning I could shoot the steam train on the bridge, something that I had wanted to do for some time. Overall, this was a productive semester with a variety pf action, so enjoy the video.
