Georgia Recovers Launch - Neil Campbell

Описание: On Wednesday, June 5, 2019 the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) joined the Georgia Council on Substance Abuse (GCSA), along with recovery leaders across Georgia, to launch Georgia Recovers, a statewide marketing campaign designed to promote the message that recovery is real, break the stigma about addiction, and encourage those who are struggling to seek help.

The campaign, which runs through April 2020, features billboards depicting 18 individuals in recovery, as well as positive video messages marketed through an aggressive social media campaign (#GARecovers).

Featured speakers includes DBHDD Commissioner - Judy Fitzgerald, GCSA - Executive Director Neil Campbell and Communications and Policy Chief - Jeff Breedlove, House Speaker - David Ralston, State Senator - Renee Unterman, State Representatives - Erick Allen, Sharon Cooper, Katie Dempsey, Houston Gaines, and Dewayne Hill, DeKalb County Commissioner - Nancy Jester, Clayton County Juvenile Court Chief - Judge Steven Teske, Marietta Police Chief - Dan Flynn, and Georgia Board of Education Chairman - Scott Johnson.
