37edo is an intriguing tuning. it has a lot of notes, which can make it hard to navigate. the fifth is especially sharp, which is strange. 37 also has a lot of good JI approximations besides the fifth--alongside a lot of bizarre intervals that are harder to classify.
while i did approach the tuning as as whole at first, for some parts i picked subsets. i used a dual fifth scale in one section (thanks abnormality) and diasem in another (thanks fitzgerald).
i cut up some wicked breakbeats sent to me by 333amethyst and JP. i also sampled some finger drumming by thesampler.
