Dateline Philippines: President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Thursday reiterated his vow during his fourth State of the Nation Address (SONA) that no school teacher will retire as Teacher 1 as the government bolsters its rollout of a career progression program.
Marcos Jr. witnessed the oath-taking of 1,991 newly promoted public school teachers and school leaders in Bulacan and Pampanga under the Expanded Career Progression (ECP) system at the City of San Jose del Monte Sports Complex in Bulacan Thursday, February 19.
