9 years ago on Christmas day, we lost this guy. 2016 was a horrible year for all the amazing people we lost. Bowie at the start of the year and George at the end. I have wanted to do a version of this for many years, the original is probably one of the greatest songs ever written, the production the saxophone - pure perfection. I took it down a more electronic road, I couldn't keep the saxophone, if I was doing a version, it would have to be his voice and a different style. The saxophone in the original is probably the most famous sax line, and I would say, the best sax line ever. I believe it was originally planned to be a guitar riff, saxophone idea came along later. I've used several synths for the distinctive riff and also added an arpeggio throughout, using the sax riff notes.
