Autism Travel Tips

Описание: We love vacation, and I see so many people saying they don’t think they can go on trips right now, or that they don’t think they could handle taking their kids. But going on vacation with my family is one of my favorite activities. It’s our best family time. I does take work; I make lists; I pack most of the things (my 15 year old does most of her own now 🤗); we prep food for Zoe, and bring lots of stuff.
But it’s worth it. We go 3-4 times per year now. It’s a lot of packing, prepping and planning to go, but it’s so worth it.

There are tips and tricks we’ve learned for traveling with Zoe to make things go more smoothly, to not bring the entire house, to manage contingency plans for her needs of something doesn’t work out the way we hope. I’ll share share more on those things later, but for now, these three simple tips can make traveling with just about any young child easier. They work for us.
