Building a 2001 Yamaha of Troy YZ125 | RACESPEED CUSTOMS

Описание: I’ve been building and restoring bikes with my dad for a number of years now, with photos of the build process commonly shared around the internet and on social media platforms. I’ve received more and more requests recently for a build video showing the bike assembly, although with zero experience of filming and editing it’s been a bit of a learning process - plenty of room for improvements but I’d be keen for any constructive criticism!

It has not been easy to retain continuity, as this was filmed over 3 months, during most evenings and weekends. It's a huge task taking an old worn out 22+ year old field bike and bringing it back to its former glory, but when only perfection will do there is no compromise.

However, this bike was a fun one; it's built with a mix of 1996 and 1999 parts, but with plenty of extras to make it look as close to the original 2001 Yamaha of Troy team bikes as possible. Whilst not used by the team in '01, the full factory YRRD Rinaldi engine kit and exhaust are probably the coolest extras, and it sounds incredible! The DSP carbon disc cover, Excel rims, Billet triple clamps, titanium footpegs, custom seat cover and graphics by Unbounded Designs, custom blue/black brake hose by Venhill, and the Kashima bronze coated forks really top it off.
