Spot gold was little changed near $4,450 an ounce, having risen 2.7% in the previous session following the capture of Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro. Uncertainty hangs over governance of the South American nation after President Donald Trump said the US plans to “run” the country. Delcy Rodríguez was sworn in as acting president.
