Van Life on the Slopes | Winter Weekend in a Geotrek Van

Описание: This episode of Stories From the Road features two of our own, Evan and Ashley! They took a Bear Peak demo van out for a winter weekend to show just how easy it is to use a Geotrek camper as a winter basecamp.

During the winter season, you’ll find Evan and Ashley on the slopes nearly every weekend. Snowboarding is their thing, and the Bear Peak camper made it easy to roll into the resort, park up, and have a warm, functional home base right in the lot. There’s something pretty hard to beat about stepping out of a Geotrek van at a resort with everything you need already dialed.

The weekend kicked off with Evan cooking breakfast inside the warm, cozy van for Ashley, her sister, and brother-in-law. Using the single-burner induction cooktop, Evan chef’d up one of his go-to favorites—an egg, sausage, and hash brown breakfast burrito. The single-burner was perfect for this and made cooking simple and efficient before heading up the mountain.

Their dog, Loki, loved the van just as much. Between snuggling up in the bed and staying warm with the heater running, Evan and Ashley had peace of mind knowing Loki was comfortable and cozy while they were out shredding.

The garage had plenty of space for snowboards, boots, goggles, and all their winter gear—no problem at all. Everything stayed organized, dry, and easy to access.

As Ashley puts it, owning a van as a ski chalet is a total no-brainer.
