We Tested Used ASSOS Kit — Is It Still Worth It in 2025?

Or should you just buy something cheap and new instead?

We brought a few pieces to take a closer look — mainly older ASSOS jackets — because that’s the stuff where you can actually go back 10–15 years and still find good deals on Vinted. And honestly… some of it is shockingly good for the price.

CORY recently bought a “like new” ASSOS Habu 5, originally around €270, and got it for €70.
We compare it with my own older Habu (passed down from my dad, basically 15 years old), and even with a budget Decathlon winter jacket we bought last year.

We talk fit, materials, breathability, longevity, and whether these old premium pieces still make sense in 2025 — or if they’re just nostalgia.

We also have some more off-bike stuff, some funny old designs, and a whole bunch of other second-hand finds we’ll show in future episodes.
