Scram False Positives - AMS failure to report honestly
Scram will report alcohol consumption even when their own data proves that alcohol was not consumed. Their tactics of delayed reporting makes it challenging to prove that their reports are false, but its not impossible to prove the truth. It is truly a nightmare to be on the other end of a false report. We have read of some situation where a subject is actually incarcerated as a result of alleged false consumption reports. You will need to get to a lab as soon as you possibly can, for either urine, blood or fingernail testing when you receive notification of a consumption violation when in fact alcohol has not been consumed. You will need to be tested for ETG. Save the results. You will need to request various documents from Scram or AMS directly.
The TAC readings may show that alcohol was not consumed and Scram may still report this as confirmed alcohol consumption. It's difficult to believe but this is being done. Scram false positives are not in this situation looking to be on the part of the Scram Alcohol Monitor or the recorded data but rather on human failure when confirming the alerts and then classifying the alert as a consumption.
The damages caused by such disregard for the truth in these situations are impossible.
