Welcome to Psychedelic Notes, a series of short videos about some intriguing (not just) psychedelic ideas discussed by Terence McKenna.

In this episode Terence mainly talks about how the intensity of a psychedelic trip plays a role in bringing us closer to understanding what the psychedelic experience actually is.

Although he always advocated the importance of the "Heroic Dose", Terence himself once experienced a bad trip with mushrooms back in the late 80's. It was quite severe, so much so that he almost stopped taking psychedelics all together. It should serve as a disclaimer that even though I'm fond of his idea of an intense experience, it is very important to remember that we approach psychedelics in a respectful and responsible manner.

I'm very aware that there are some people who prefer no music or sound effects while listening to McKenna, however, here the sound effects create suspense and add another dimension to the artwork presented in the video.
