Travelling shot as we drive along highway towards downtown Montreal. Exterior shot of Ville Marie garage entrance with car going into hotel garage. C/U of car wheels driving through slush. General view of commuters coming up stairs into Canadian National Station.



Several shots of the 'underground city' above or below the station - a shopping mall. People walk around. A man cleans the floor with a sweeping machine. People sit in a cafe. Men have their hair cut at a barber's and their shoes shined at another store. People queue at a bank.



Shots of people wandering about the mall. A metro train is seen arriving on a lower level of the mall. People come up an escalator into the Place Bonaventure. C/U of sign reading 'Zum Zum' outside a sausage cafe.



In the exhibition hall people look at yachts in some kind of boat show. Two girls swim in an outdoor heated pool on top of the Hotel Bonaventure. A man comes out of a shop with a sign in the window reading 'Turkish Bath' and does up his coat - looks a bit seedy! Shot of a window in a skyscraper then zoom out to show the high tower in the city surroundings of Montreal.



Note: not sure if the mall is really below ground or above it, or both!
