My Version of an Edward Wesson Painting

Описание: When I feel my paintings are getting a little stale I’ll turn to the masters to try and get back on track. Here’s my version of a painting by Edward Wesson.

But one thing that’s always puzzled me is copyright infringement. Although I’ve tried to put my own stamp on the painting I think it’s still recognizable from the original.

Is it OK to put this video on YouTube and sell the painting on eBay? At what point does plagiarism become an issue and is it morally acceptable to use masters work this way?

If anyone has any experience with these issues I would welcome your feedback in the comments.
