Azhithala Beach, an estuary of Tejaswini River and the Arabian Sea, is a wide and calm beach adorned with casuarina trees placed on a golden sand carpet, bordered by big rocks.
The place as it offers tremendous sunset views often gets crowded during the evenings. Not only sightseeing and relaxing, this place is much preferred for fishing activities also. Many people are seen doing fishing with normal as well as modern fishing sticks and most of them go back with enough fish. The rock wall is their platform and the sight of catching fish is really amazing to watch. Located 25km away from Bekal city, the beach is perfect for long walking, photography, and an offbeat atmosphere.
