Today we visit excelsior tunnel running under kit hill, with ancient rumours of underground nuclear testing we had to pay a visit, originally started life as a mine looking for tin and copper deposits in the late 1800’s and then eventually used by the military in the 1950’s for tnt seismic testing, to replicate an underground nuclear explosion, the aim was to try and hide the seismic blast from the soviets,
