A full-barrier level crossing found between the platforms of Stewartby Station on the Marston Vale Line in quite a salubrious and walker-friendly area. It is the only level crossing on this line which in its current guise fully dates back to after the 2004 re-signalling, as it was extensively renewed and converted from a half-barrier level crossing in 2020. Its previous form was notorious for failures and barrier strikes, and the LED wigwags in place now are far more visible to the fair amount of HGV traffic using it to access a nearby modern power station, though barrier down time is now considerably longer. It also rather intriguingly has as many as four alarms, the most of any crossing on this line. Crossing operations are taken care of from the line's dedicated signalling centre at Ridgmont, and little cameras on sticks extending forward from the exit-side wigwags prove the road traffic lights are operational in case of an incident.

Two Class 150 'sprinters' feature in this video, the second being the third unit of London North Western Railway's ex-Northern fleet. It was fresh from Bletchley depot to cover the last-minute re-instated services booked to be covered by the unit that failed at Bletchley early that morning, leaving what looked at the time to be a whole rest of the day with only one train running two-hourly services in each direction. For well over an hour, the line was down to one train only, but things went smoothly for the rest of the day from this point onwards with a consistent and very punctual hourly service following!
