Black cars look incredible when they are clean. But if you run them through automatic car washes long enough, the fine scratches and swirl marks start to show up everywhere.
In this video I put the Mothers High Performance Ceramic Car Care products to the test on my daughter’s black 2023 Toyota Corolla. After two years of automatic car washes, the paint was full of light scratches and needed some attention.
I walk through the entire process including a proper rinse, washing with Mothers Ceramic Wash and Wax, cleaning wheels, wiping down door jambs and crevices, performing paint correction by hand, and finishing with Mothers Ceramic Spray Wax for gloss and protection.
This was done the old fashioned way by hand to show the real effort required without an orbital buffer.
