Video Instructions for motorizing the Lego Lone Ranger Constitution Train 79111. This is based on using an 88002 train base together with a 88000 battery box, 8884 IR receiver and an 8879 IR controller.
The receiver is in the train engine driver compartment and the roof has been rebuilt so that there is a hole for the receiver. The motor and battery are built into the coal wagon, which has an extra layer of dark green bricks and a layer of dark green plates. You do need quite a few extra parts for this but hopefully you like the result.
