Описание: The energy-momentum tensor,also known as stress-energy tensor specifically for a perfect fluid,is a very important concept in both fluid dynamics and general relativity. It is a symmetric tensor of rank two which encodes conservation laws of energy and momentum. Actually the energy- momentum tensor for a perfect fluid succinctly describes how energy and momentum are distributed and flow in spacetime,depending on the fluid’s energy density,pressure, and motion. It application in the study of general relativity and fluid dynamics is vivid. In cosmology,we often model the contents of the universe as a perfect fluid. For example radiation pressure is equal to one-third of the energy density and for dust which is pressure less matter the pressure is zero.
