Описание: Punjab continues to struggle under relentless rains, dam water releases, and overflowing rivers. Ferozepur and Amritsar are among the worst-affected districts. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann toured submerged villages in Ferozepur and briefed the Prime Minister and Union Home Minister.

So far, 29 people have died, 12 districts are severely affected, and hundreds of acres of farmland are inundated. Amritsar received 18.3 mm of rain in the past 24 hours. The Sutlej, Beas, and Ravi rivers, along with seasonal streams, are in spate, damaging over 50,000 acres of paddy crops and threatening embankments. Relief and rescue operations by NDRF, Army, BSF, and local authorities are ongoing.
