The Geneva Bible was the Bible of the English Reformation. It was first published in 1560 and was rejected by the English Crown for its seditious-seeming notes in the margin and was thus replaced by the King James Version, translated exclusively by Anglicans loyal to the crown, as the official bible of the English Monarchy. This particular audio is from the 1599 update.
