Taiheiki (太平記) is a 1991 Japanese historical television series and the 29th NHK taiga drama.
This show is based on a novel, Shihon Taiheiki by Eiji Yoshikawa [1958].
The setting is the end of the Kamakura period.
I am still learning, and find Japanese history fascinating.
Very grateful to all who worked so hard to create this wonderful drama, and gratitude for the work of Mr. Sanada, as I might not have been introduced to this show otherwise.
