hey guys in this video we dive into rest times for strength and hypertrophy training. I get a lot of questions of clients or people asking how long should I rest between sets coach joe? well the answer is as always "It depends" in this video I give some general guidelines for rest periods during your workout. These are for straight sets, not advanced training principles such as myo reps/ rest pauses etc... Ideally when we are doing hypertrophy we want to be between the 2-3 minute mark. When we are focusing on strength we want to be somewhere in the 3-5 minute range. I also give you guys some guidelines that I learned from Dr. Mike Israetel when I trained with him for year.
