Machining Process
1. Machining Mandrel OD 32.00 -0.015 /0.00
2. Checking the Radial and Axial Run out of the Mandrel. the Max Allowable Tolerance 0.03 mm from both the directions
3. Clean Impeller bore and check for any dent or sharp edges if so then clean with sand paper.
4. Impeller Bore Size 32.00 +0.015/+0.02 mm - and the Impeller Trimming Size Final is 234.00 / +0.05 and the Actual Size of the Impeller is 260 mm
5. Fix the Impeller to the Mandrel and Lock it.
6. Before Starting Rough Machining support the mandrel using Tail Stock this is done to avoid vibration.
7. Check for Axial and Radial run out on the Impeller Wearing Area tolerance same as the Mandrel Value 0.03 Max. If the Values are in tolerance then start the Machining .
8. During Rough Machining .
a. Machine Rpm 194
b. Depth of Cut 1.5 mm Diametrically 3 mm
9.Second Run out Check at when Impeller has the Stock of 2 mm . If we have any deviation again its adjusted and run out is taken again.
10. From the Above stage Final Machining Stage Starts
a. Machine RPM 234
b. Depth of Cut 0.1 mm Diametrically 0.2 mm
11. Third Run out Check at when the impeller has the stock of 0.2 mm
12. Final Run out Check / Dimension inspection after Final Machining.
