345 MPH Made History… Here’s What Happened In Our Pit

Описание: 345 MPH. The fastest run in drag racing history just happened right in front of us.
And while the world was watching that record pass, we were deep in the pits testing my brand-new canopy Top Fuel car.

After introducing y’all to our new Chief, Jon Oberhofer, and revealing that I’m now driving a canopy car, it was finally time to get down to business — TESTING.

What’s it really like inside the canopy at over 330+ MPH?
Is it different?
Do I like it?

There’s only one way to find out… make runs.

And that’s exactly what we did.

Run after run.
Engine change after engine change.
Clutch discs. Nitro burned. Data reviewed. Adjustments made. Repeat.

This is the grind of a professional NHRA Top Fuel team.

To make it even better, I busted out my new Meta glasses and put them on different crew members so you can see the chaos from THEIR point of view inside the pit area during warmups and between rounds.

We caught up with some incredible people throughout the test:

And then we witnessed something absolutely unreal.

Shawn Langdon became the quickest man in the world one day… and then backed it up by making the fastest run in drag racing history the next.

History was made.

Meanwhile, our Rick Ware Racing team kept grinding — 22 total runs between the two cars. That’s a LOT of nitro. A LOT of parts. And a whole lot of teamwork.

This is my longest video ever on this channel… but it might be the most raw, unfiltered look you’ve ever seen at what it really takes to compete at the highest level of nitro racing.
