🎥 EPIC J-Bay Winter Swell | South Africa Lights Up! | Down the Line Ep. 5
Hey crew,
In this episode of Down the Line, I filmed the first real "winter" swell of the year at Jeffreys Bay, and let’s just say — J-Bay was firing. We've had a few warm-ups, but this one was the real deal. Super tubes lit up for three straight days, and the lineup was stacked with some of South Africa’s best surfers chasing the epic conditions.
Sets rolled in clean and heavy — pulsing from 4–6 foot into the occasional bombing 6–8 foot sets that had everyone charging. I filmed as much as I could (pretty much non-stop), until my memory card tapped out during one of the best sets of the session — classic scenario!
Still, I scored some amazing surf footage: long walls, barrels, turns, and the unmistakable magic of J-Bay. If you love surf edits, South African waves, and world-class point break action, this one’s for you.
