There are plenty of high-quality black-and-white versions of this movie on YouTube, so I didn't find the need to upscale it to 4K in black and white. Instead, I chose to upscale to 4K and colorize it, which took around 12 hours.

I downloaded a high-quality HD copy from the Archive, upscaled it to 4K at 60fps, and colorized it using an RTX 4080, a Ryzen 12-core CPU, and 96GB of DDR5 RAM. I reduced the saturation to help eliminate red flash and color changes.

I wanted a more 1960s feel, therefor, I used minimal colorisation.

AI colorization is never 100% perfect. You may notice red flashes, grey body parts, and incorrectly colored objects.
