Welcome back to History with Seb! This video is about the Gulf War from 1990 to 1991.

The Gulf War, also known as the First Gulf War, occurred in 1990-1991 when Iraq, under Saddam Hussein's leadership, invaded Kuwait, alleging territorial and economic disputes. In response, an international coalition led by the United States intervened to liberate Kuwait and protect other Gulf countries. The war began on January 17, 1991, with intense aerial bombardments, followed by a swift ground offensive that drove Iraqi forces out of Kuwait by February 28, 1991. The conflict's consequences were significant, with Kuwait's liberation and the preservation of other Gulf nations' territorial integrity, but it also laid the groundwork for subsequent regional tensions and conflicts.
