If you want to get back together with your ex after divorce, the important thing to understand is the difference between the legal entity of the marriage and the emotional connection with you spouse.

Many people will try to stop the legal action of the divorce at the expense of the emotional connection with their wife or husband.

This is not good.

Sure, you might succeed in stopping the legal proceedings of the divorce, at least temporarily, but if your wife or husband still feels a loss of emotional connection toward, you are not in a good place.

After all, remember that the emotional connection creates the quality of the marriage.

You don’t just want to tick the box that says “yes, I am married.” Nope. You probably want the closeness and the emotional connection that you believe that marriage will give you.

That’s something that you’re going to have to focus on instead of the outcome of stopping a divorce.

So, in your efforts to get back together with your wife or husband, you may actually legally become divorced, but if the emotional connection is strong, you will find your way back together again.

I know that this can seem counterintuitive, but it’s at the foundation of healthy relationship.

So, that’s the first thing you must do. Decide if you are fighting for your legal entity of your marriage or if you are fighting for the emotional connection that actually makes your marriage something worth having.

Beyond that, ignore everything else. Just focus on the emotional connection and you’ll be well on your way to creating the kind of bond that will actually help you get back together with your husband or wife.
