Exclusive releases include Attack of the Killer B-Sides by A Day to Remember (10-inch neon orange vinyl, 2,900 copies), Moon Safari Live and Demos by Air (custard vinyl, 2,500 copies), and a picture disc of The B-52s' debut album (3,500 copies). Blur’s The Magic Whip (Zoetrope edition, 2,500 copies) and David Bowie’s Ready, Set, Go: Live at Riverside Studios ‘03 (two-LP set, 6,400 copies) are also featured.
Jeff Bridges’ Slow Magic 1977-78 (transparent blue vinyl, 1,500 copies) includes previously unreleased tracks. Camper Van Beethoven’s Telephone Free Landslide Victory (clear and orange marbled vinyl, 1,500 copies) is available on vinyl for the first time since the 1980s.
Other notable releases: Chevelle’s Point #1 (lemonade and olive vinyl, 1,800 copies), Elvis Costello’s The Kings of America: Live at Royal Albert Hall (two-LP set, 2,000 copies), Cowboy Junkies’ More Acoustic Junk (yellow vinyl, 1,400 copies), and The Cure’s The Head on the Door (picture disc, 8,250 copies).
Dokken’s Beast from the East (green and orange vinyl, 3,100 copies) revisits their 1988 live album. The Doors’ Strange Days 1967: A Work in Progress (translucent blue vinyl, 7,500 copies) compiles demo recordings. Pete Droge’s Necktie Second (1994) returns, known for If You Don’t Love Me, I’ll Kill Myself from *Dumb and Dumber*.
Judas Priest’s Live in Atlanta 82*, a red vinyl two-LP set previously available in their *50 Heavy Metal Years box set. Cleo’s All the Pretty Girls EP gets a 10th-anniversary reissue on raspberry marble vinyl. Geddy Lee’s last demos, originally from his audiobook and later digital platforms, debut physically on a 12-inch single (*Gone* and I Am You Are*), with 3,500 copies available. John Lennon & Yoko Ono’s *Power to the People live set (1972) drops on yellow vinyl, while Johnny Marr’s Look at Live*, a career-spanning 2024 performance, arrives on orange vinyl. Nick Mason’s *Echoes Live features an etched B-side and plays in reverse from the center outward. Joni Mitchell’s Live 1976 offers a 3-LP set from multiple performances. Other highlights include a Home Sweet Home picture disc from Mötley Crüe, Dolores O’Riordan’s exclusive transparent violet vinyl, Papa Roach’s Leave a Light On 12-inch, and Lou Reed’s Metal Machine Music 50th-anniversary metallic silver vinyl. Additional releases include First Issue from Public Image Ltd., The Ramones’ Loco Live*, The Replacements’ *Tim (2023 remaster and alternate mix), Keith Richards’ Live 3-Track EP*, and Todd Rundgren’s *Initiation on translucent blue vinyl.
It's the 20th anniversary of The Secret Life of The Veronicas*. Rhino is releasing 2,000 copies of a limited edition three-song 10" orange vinyl featuring *Everybody Have Fun Tonight by Wang Chung, including remixes, a live track, and Fire in the Twilight*. Scott Weiland’s *I Know It's Too Late*, a previously unreleased song from his 2008 solo album, is getting a 1,200-copy release on orange 7" vinyl. Wire’s *9/7*, a two-LP set of 1977-1980 recordings, is limited to 1,200 copies. Other releases include a remastered *Live at Electric Ladyland from Ronnie Wood, Warren Zevon’s Piano Fighter: The Giant Years (four LPs), and The Blasters Complete Studio Recordings (1979-1985)*. Additional highlights: Carcass on translucent green vinyl, Dead or Alive’s *Youthquake remixes, and Suede’s Sci-Fi Lullabies Vol. 2*. Rain Parade’s *Crashing Dream gets its first vinyl remaster. Leftovers Again, Again, Again compiles rediscovered 1980s recordings.
This Record Store Day features a range of exclusive vinyl releases. A-ha's Hunting High and Low 1984 demos arrive on crystal-clear vinyl (3,000 copies). Belly's King is reissued on green vinyl, while Black Sabbath’s The Eternal Idol (1987) gets a 6,000-copy translucent vinyl pressing. Black Stone Cherry releases a live collection with guest artists. Blue Cheer drops Summertime Blues on splatter vinyl. Other notable releases include Collective Soul’s Blender*, Deicide’s *Once Upon the Cross 30th-anniversary reissue, Peter Gabriel’s OVO*, and Elton John’s *Live from the Rainbow Theatre*. Also featured: Bruce Springsteen & The Killers’ *Badlands live collab, Mark Knopfler’s *One Take Radio Sessions*, and a soundtrack for *The Serpent and the Rainbow*.
