First flight today and I experienced the dreaded TBE.
This was not a firmware bug or a hardware problem, just lack of good compass calibration data.
This happens rarely, but when it does the easy fix is to land immediately and perform a smooth, slow compass calibration.
Pre flight checks should always be performed before heading off on any flight.
On this flight there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that if an emergency had occurred, and I'd had to invoke RTH, this quad would have crashed.
As some folks love to say, "it went crazy..."
