Our first days in tokyo 🇯🇵
Filled with slow walks, long lines, a little confusion, and a lot of good food.
We spent our first day wandering around ikebukuro, hopping between anime stores and just taking everything in. We lined up for almost 2 hours for a famous omurice — partly for the food, partly to understand why the japanese are so serious about lining up (we still don’t get it).
We also tried the viral I’m donut, had sushi omakase the next day (yes, including fish sperm…), drank my very first matcha latte of the trip, and somehow got lost inside shinjuku station.
