Singapore Hakwer Culture - Fried Char Kway Teow Noodles might not be Singapore's national dish but "No. 18 Fried Kway Teow" stall sure dishes this well enoughto haves snaking queue througout their operating hours. Customers range from locals, old-timers and tourists all wanting to indulge in the falvourfull (wok hei) noodles packed with an abundance of eggs, pork lard, cockles and fish cakes (requet for Lup Cheong or Chinese Sausages for added flavour).
The stall has been relocated to its original Zion Riverside Food Centre after the long overdue renovation.
Give it a try and you would sure love it!
