Indigenous have been celebrating the return of the sockeye for many years.
Every four years millions of sockeye salmon swim from the Pacific Ocean, through the murky water of Fraser River, the clear Thompson River to the gravel beds of Adams River, BC, Canada to spawn. The year 2014 is predicted to be the largest run in 100 years.
