Описание: Instants d’un opéra de Pékin ("Moments from a Peking Opera"--erroneously translated on the video as "Moments..."!) is a work for solo piano by Qigang Chen (b.1951). Its original version was composed in 2000 for the final round of Messiaen International Piano Competition. In this virtuosic work, Chen incorporated elements of the Peking Opera using theme and variations.
