Hiya! We’re Nat & Jodie—Originally from Australia, we kicked off our full-time international house sitting journey in 2013—with just $300 USD, zero savings, and no credit. After a business flop in Dubai left us with nothing but our suitcases and a whole lotta hope, we landed in a multi-million dollar house sit in southwest France… and had our massive a-ha! moment. Surrounded by vineyards, overlooking the 20-meter infinity pool, we asked just one simple question… what if we just kept doing this?! Over 12 years and hundreds of house sits later, house sitting has taken us to dozens of countries and provided us with a lifestyle many only ever dream of.

Our great love now is sharing the magic of this lifestyle with others. In 2014, we founded The House Sitting Academy, where over the years, a thousand plus travel lovers have become confident, sought-after international sitters. And in 2016, we wrote the Amazon best-seller “International House Sitting” to help even more people ditch the ordinary, and travel the world living like locals as house sitters.
