Here’s where the league stands after nearly 20 years of madness:

Kobe, Iverson, KG, T-Mac, LeBron, Bosh — all traded long ago.

Derrick Rose was drafted by the Celtics.

KD, Blake Griffin, Paul George, and LaMarcus Aldridge all started with the Jazz.

Harden and Westbrook began their careers with the Raptors.

Chris Paul was drafted by the 76ers, spent time with the Clippers, then landed on the Pistons.

LaMarcus Aldridge left the Jazz for the Kings, Manu Ginóbili left the Spurs for the Pacers.

The Hawks traded Kyrie Irving’s rights for Jerryd Bayless and Luke Babbitt (still one of the worst trades ever 💀).

LeBron James started his career with the Grizzlies, got traded to the Pistons for Chauncey Billups, then went to the Bulls, and finally won a ring with the Heat, defeating OP Kyrie Irving and the Trail Blazers.

But that’s just the start:

Kyrie left Portland for the Jazz, and KD replaced him on the Blazers.

DeMarcus Cousins left Steph Curry and Anthony Davis to join the Grizzlies.

Joel Embiid was drafted #2 by the Sixers, while Jokic, as a late 2nd-rounder, returned to dominate with the Nuggets.

Rudy Gobert won Finals MVP with Damian Lillard and Kevin Love on the Pelicans.

We’ve eliminated Klay Thompson and the Clippers multiple times — and yes, they still think Klay can guard Jokic every play 😭.

We beat the Raptors in the Finals again (3 out of 4 times now).

The Nets blew it up — letting Paul George go to the Grizzlies, and Giannis form a superteam on the Lakers with Jimmy Butler and Ja Morant.

We turned down a trade for Devin Booker… and Zach LaVine went on to win Finals MVP.

Then in 2K22, Kevin Durant got his revenge — eliminating us in the Western Conference Finals, then sweeping Harden and Westbrook in the Finals.

Now, we’re heading into NBA 2K23 — and after everything we’ve built, lost, and reclaimed, one question remains:
