Hey guys!
Welcome to another episode of Hiking the Island!
This time, we've decided to die just a little while climbing one of the old trails made in Madeira island. These trails were once made to fight the isolation the Fajãs had over the centuries.
Can you believe that up until the last century, these were the normal paths to take?
That or, if, but only IF you had money, then you would be able to go by boat.
And, of course, we've decided the harder way to travel. The difference between us and the people from the old days is, we're not going up the mountain to sell our merchandise.

The path going down to Paul do Mar is one of the recommended paths in Madeira, the PR 19.
