After all the commotion, it was revealed that the notes belonged to Muhammad Iqbal Afridi, a member of parliament from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party. By the time the matter was resolved, a video of the incident had gone viral on social media, and the Pakistani public began making fun of it. Many users called it shameful. One user, Shahnaz Khalid, wrote, "The behavior of the MNAs is shameful. This clip is enough to show the integrity of our parliament.
