This instructional video will show how to safely operate an overhead sectional door in a warehouse environment, or any environment, as the concept still applies. The first recommendation is if there door is damaged or needs repairs is to call a licensed and insured door professional that is properly trained to work on these large and dangerous commercial doors and not have untrained people repair the doors as proper education and training is needed to understand the tremendous forces the doors are under to operate in the manner they do. This is where I have personally seen the most serious injuries occur is when the owner or employee tries too repair the door themselves or stop it from falling. Second is to operate the overhead doors slowly, to insure you and the doors stay safe, during manual or motorized operation.
