Описание: Radius Group supported the replacement of a critical telescopic boom at Level 36 of 30 St Mary Axe (The Gherkin), where conventional crane access was not feasible due to the surrounding urban environment. Working as part of a specialist delivery team, a helicopter lifting methodology was developed to enable installation at height while avoiding large-scale crane mobilisation and extended road closures. The operation was completed within a tightly controlled window, allowing essential works to be carried out with minimal disruption to building operations and the surrounding City of London.
