Inter Ministerial Central team today visited Amreli district's flood affected areas. IMCT team leader and joint secretary Bhagwan Shankar(IAS) held a meeting at district collector office and received briefing on flood through power point presentation. IMTCT team visited road, bridge, railway bridge near Gavadaka and th area around central school at Babapur village. The team heared local people.
Union joint secretary Bhagwan Shankar, Agriculture department deputy secretary VS Chakravarti, Electric authority deputy director Shantanu Biswas, PK Shakya, Rakeshkumar and Dinanathji were part of this central team.
The central team is likely to visit another flood-affected pocket of Gujarat in Banaskantha district tomorrow.
