We head north to Dresden to visit Saxony where the Elbsandsteingebirge (Sandstone Mountain Range) lives. This is the birthplace of free climbing with the most incredible climbs, hikes, and naturescapes. Chiko struggles along the way as she learns German.
A climbing trip is not complete with a visit to Frankenjura and we make the most of it despite all the rain. Since we can’t cook on the road, we’re sharing the best local German cuisine with you in the old city of Nuremberg.

Our truck is a 2009 GMC Savana G3500 cut-away with a 12 ft box. We converted it into our tiny home on wheels and moved in May 2021 to travel North America for rock climbing.
