The Autism Parents Association of Trinidad and Tobago is disputing claims made by Minister of Education, Anthony Garcia, who said all is being done to assist children with special needs in Trinidad and Tobago.
The Association has taken issue with what they describe as "outrageous statements" made by the Minister as it relates to the availability of special education services.
One parent with an autistic son outlined her experience in going through the education system to Dionne Baptiste.
