I test and review many new products in my morning routines, but I make sure to use this exact routine at least 2-3x a week because my skin responds so well to it.

*Why do I apply SUNSCREEN before MOISTURIZER? 🤔 💭
This sunscreen is chemical meaning it contains ingredients such as Oxybenzone and Homosalate. Chemical sunscreens work by absorbing into the skin to protect against sun rays. Mineral sunscreens, usually containing zinc oxide, lay on top of the skin like a film to protect against the sun. Because of the difference in how they work, mineral sunscreens must always be applied as a final step (as any product applied over them would have a hard time absorbing into the skin). Whereas chemical sunscreens can be applied before or after moisturizer since they absorb into the skin like most skincare products. Since this is the case, when I use a chemical sunscreen I tend to apply my products from thinnest to thickest texture. This moisturizer is thicker than this sunscreen so I applied the sunscreen first and the moisturizer after.
