I wanted to save this for the 20th of July for obvious reasons, but music waits for no one, and lately I haven't been able of taking this song out of my head.

Therefore, I've decided to take it out of my body.

It's too hard for me to listen to this song after Chester's passing, like I suppose is too for most of you, but it has lately been more of a lullaby. The last semester is close to an end, and with all the exhaustion and pressure, some thoughts tend to isolate the mind. I look back at the start of the year, I gaze upon the walked road, and I think about all the victories and the defeats.

I don't want to get melodramatic here, but I want to share with you something that I've realized, and that maybe can be useful to you too: It's okay to be sad. To feel alone, tired, angry, powerless, decieved, frustrated, exhasuted, miserable... All those bad words we tend to hide from the rest. I can't give you the solution for any of those, for I don't have one myself, but I'll tell you this: the one thing that you can count on, the one thing that will always be by your side, is music.

Our heroes may come and go. Time will pass. Things will change. We will change. But those songs that pump your heart will always be with you. You can abandon them for years, but they will always come back whenever you need. Trust them. Let them tell you the things you need to hear. They know more than meets the eye (or the ear).

And the legacy of those heroes of ours will leave on, as long as we keep those songs alive within us. There is a light inside all of us, so make it fucking shine in yur own way.

Even when everything seems like darkness.

Keep it punk. Keep it real.
Keep it alive.
